Fontana Health Card, the first medical emergency health card in Nigeria, is set to be officially launched  at the CIAPS Auditorium in Lagos On Tuesday 21st November 202.

The Fontana Health Card is not only an insurance product, but a medical emergency card designed to assist cardholders in paying for necessary medical treatments, medications, tests, and exams. Cardholders can use the card to cover these expenses for themselves or anyone of their choice, making it a convenient and flexible option for individuals and families.

The Fontana Health Card is the brainchild of Fontana Society, a private business and finance society created to provide support and networking opportunities for members. With a focus on promoting and supporting graduates, professionals, and businesses, the society aims to create an environment of mutual benefit and support among its members.

The unveiling event has been designed as a town hall meeting where healthcare providers, hospitals, pharmacies, laboratories, and other stakeholders will come together to discuss how Fontana Health Card can help improve the quality of healthcare in Nigeria. The meeting will allow for the exchange of ideas and information, as well as the opportunity to learn about the benefits of the card for both providers and cardholders. In addition, existing and new cardholders will have the chance to ask questions and learn more about how the card can help them access the healthcare they need.

Confirming the significance of the event and the initiative, Anthony Kila, president of the Fontana Society, said that the Fontana Health Card is a significant development in the Nigerian healthcare sector, as it addresses many of the challenges that users and providers face when trying to access and provide quality emergency healthcare.

The renowned professor of Strategy and Development also noted that “the Fontana Team has been able to put together the best Health care providers in the country” and he commended the hospitals, pharmacies, diagnostic centers and other health care providers that were swift to understand the vision and were able to meet the required standards to participate in the programme.”

“The Fontana Health Card unveiling event is scheduled to take place from 10:00 am to 11:30 am, and participation is by invitation only. Invitations can be requested via the Fontana Society website, www.fontanasociety.com.
