Munchads innovates with native advertising for advertisers in Africa

Munchads, a Nigerian marketing technology company has said it is bringing innovation and changing how African advertisers, businesses, and brands connect with consumers using the native advertising strategy/format.

Native advertising is an ad serving strategy in which advertisers can place their marketing communication side by side with editorial content, allowing consumers to have a good website experience while consuming advertising content that is relevant to them. According to Forbes, native advertising works well because they do not disrupt the experience of the end-user with intrusive advertising content, thereby significantly improving the results that advertisers get with such advertising campaigns.

Native ads have existed for a long time, with a majority of ad networks who play in the sector being foreign firms that are sometimes not privy to the uniqueness of the African market. Consequently, issues like pricing and access to the right publishers crop up. Munchads says it is looking to fill this gap by providing African advertisers with a unique native advertising platform that takes the uniqueness of the African market into consideration. For example, while foreign native ad networks typically charge in dollars, Munchads allows African advertisers to fund and manage their ad credit/balances in their local currencies. Additionally, Munchads says it has a growing publisher base in Africa and several partnerships with media and foreign technology firms in the AdTech Industry, that allow advertisers target consumers in almost any country.

“In order for us to help African advertisers get the best value for their money using native ads, we are partnering with website publishers across the continent and technology partners around the globe, ” Munchad says. “We understand that publishers are important stakeholders for our innovative marketing technology to work,” it concludes.

Advertisers can start running native ads in a few clicks by registering on Munchads and subsequently creating campaigns. Munchads says it has gone through a painstaking process to make sure that the platform is easy to use for all advertisers.

Meanwhile, the company also disclosed that it is working on other innovative marketing solutions including a P2P ad marketplace where advertisers and publishers can close direct deals on ad placements thereby making it easy for advertisers to source and access ad placements on high quality websites at a much lower cost. Additionally, the company says it is already beta-testing a performance/influencer marketing platform that will help any business easily launch affiliate programs whether online or offline, and recruit the best influencers and affiliate partners while paying for only results and not expectations.
