RiverSafe, a leading cyber security, data operations, and DevOps professional services provider, has partnered with education-based charity Path to Possibilities to provide support and opportunities to children and young people in Africa.

Path to Possibilities, a UK-based non-profit organisation, works to improve the lives of disadvantaged young people in Africa through education and skills development. The organisation aims to break the cycle of deprivation by providing opportunities for children to access quality education and training, and supporting them throughout their primary and secondary education.

RiverSafe has also provided financial support to keep the Path to Possibilities Resource Centre open. The centre, which is located in Ikota, Lagos, has seen over 80,000 visits since its opening in 2017. The centre provides a safe space for children to learn foundational subjects like Mathematics and English. It also provides scholarships and other opportunities for children to improve their education.

Oseloka Obiora, the chief technology officer of RiverSafe, commented on the partnership, stating that the two organisations share a common belief that education is the key to a brighter future for everyone in society. Obiora explained that the partnership has allowed the organisations to work together to make a difference in the lives of children in Africa.

“Partnering with Path to Possibilities allows us to actively support an initiative that equips young, disadvantaged children with the education they deserve. We are very proud to support the fantastic work they do and hope to continue our relationship, providing more children with access to learning spaces, teachers and foundational courses,” Obiora stated.

Titilolami Bello, the founder of Path to Possibilities, expressed gratitude for the support from RiverSafe. Bello noted that the partnership has enabled the organisation to continue providing services to highly vulnerable children and young people at the resource centre.
