10 container ships to berth at APM Terminals, as 25 vessels call at Apapa Port

Various terminals located within the Lagos Port Complex, Apapa, Lagos, are expected to be busy from 17 October to 3 November, 2019 as a total of 25 vessels are expected to berth in the port. Within this period, shipping agents who will provide logistic support for easy cargo discharge will be busy too.
Among the 25 vessels, 10 laden with containers will be received by APM Terminals Limited and the following shipping agents – PIL, Maersk, CMACGM, ONE, COSCO and GAC – will handle their shipping logistics. The names of the vessels are – MSK Cape Coast, MSK Congo, MSK Chennai, MSK Cameroon, Kota Suria, Kota Sejarah and Sea Dream. Others are Navious Azure, Sea Span Dalian and SIMA Genesis.
At ENL Terminal, 4207.798MT of fresh fish, 5820MT of bauxite and 21,000MT of general cargo will be discharged by these three vessels named Savanna Breeze, Unistream and Top Elegance. Their agents are Samcham, Ocean Liner and APS.
Dangote Refinery in the port will equally busy within the period as no fewer than six vessels with general cargo will berth in the refinery berth. Its sister company, GDNL will receive three vessels laden with bulk salt, bulk sugar and bulk wheat. The Bluestar will provide logistics for vessels in both terminals.
The remaining two vessels – Brook and BW Leopard – will discharge 10,000 MT of automotive gas oil (AGO) and 26, 176 MT of premium motor spirit (PMS) at Atlas Cove Jetty and NOJ respective.
