Air Peace, West Africa’s largest airline, has introduced a strategic partnership with Opay Payment Service, integrating it into the airline’s Internet Booking Engine (IBE) platform.

According to the airline, this collaboration adds multiple payment options Bank Card, Opay Wallet, Bank Transfer, and Bank USSD designed to offer travelers flexibility, security, and ease when booking flights.

Ejike Ndiulo, head of corporate communications at Air Peace, highlighted the airline’s commitment to enhancing the customer experience. “At Air Peace, we are continually evolving to meet our customers’ needs. Integrating Opay into our booking system aligns with our dedication to providing unparalleled convenience, allowing passengers flexible and secure payment options within a single platform.”

According to Ndiulo, this new integration reflects Air Peace’s broader commitment to making air travel as seamless as possible.
“Our mission has always been to make the travel experience smooth and accessible, and this partnership with Opay represents a significant milestone in that journey,” he said.

This latest collaboration builds on other customer-focused initiatives introduced by Air Peace. In October 2022, the airline partnered with Kalabash to launch the “Pay-Small-Small” feature, allowing travelers to pay for flights in manageable installments and thus making air travel more affordable.

Air Peace also offers a travel insurance plan through a partnership with AIICO Insurance, reinforcing its commitment to passenger safety throughout their journey.

The airline stated that, by consistently introducing new features such as flexible payment options, travel insurance, and an expanding route network, it aims to set a benchmark for innovation in the aviation industry, enhancing both accessibility and reliability for travelers across West Africa and beyond.
