BUA Foods, a prominent Nigerian food company, recently held a customer awards dinner during which it distributed a total of N2.4 billion to its loyal distributors, as part of its mission to generate long-term value for all its stakeholders.

In a statement, BUA Foods acknowledged the importance of its IRS Premium Wheat Flour dealers, thanking them for their continued support and loyalty to the company.

Abdul Rabiu, the chairman of BUA Foods praised the contributions of the distributors as transformative and invaluable to the company’s growth strategy, as the distributors were awarded not only with accolades but also significant cash prizes amounting to a total of N2.4 billion.

Among the top prize winners were Yahuza Abdullahi from Kano State, who received N454.6 million, Ashiru Ali Yamusa, who received N284.1 million, and Maimuna Rabiu, who took home N185.8 million, with many other recipients sharing the remaining cash prizes.

“Our growth is built on a foundation of partnership, trust, and collaboration. The commitment of our dealers to driving results is at the core of our ability to reach new heights.

“As partners in progress, our dealers are not just intermediaries, they are ambassadors who bring our products and values to life. This awards ceremony is therefore a reaffirmation of our commitment to empowering and enriching our partnerships,” the chairman stated.

According to Ayodele Abioye, the managing director of BUA Foods, the company’s success hinges on fostering partnerships that deliver value to all stakeholders. He also highlighted the importance of the company’s continuous innovation, particularly in expanding the availability of their product offerings through increased penetration and broader distribution coverage.

“Our business strategy is hinged on nurturing partnerships to ensure value creation for all stakeholders.
It is for this reason that we organised a customer award dinner to appreciate our trade partners for their invaluable contributions to business growth,” Abioye added.

Hamisu Rabiu, a top dealer and award recipient, attested to the support and benefits of doing business with BUA Foods.

Speaking on behalf of his dealership, Rabiu said, “Doing business with BUA Foods has been quite rewarding; we are grateful for the recognition and cash prizes received during the event and remain committed to ensuring we continue to win together.”
