Air Peace’s monthly Antigua and Barbados take-off set for Dec. 21

Sade Williams/Business a.m.

The Caribbean romance the carrier Air Peace has been building for a while, will be further expanded on December 21, 2025 when the largest airline in West and Central Africa by fleet size, launches its monthly commercial flights between Lagos and Accra to Antigua and Barbados, it has emerged.

The new route, according to the airline, represents a major step in its commitment to expanding Africa’s connectivity as the only carrier with direct flights from West and Central Regions of Africa to the Caribbean, creating new opportunities for tourism, trade, and cultural exchange between both regions.

The new route will connect Lagos and Accra to Antigua and Barbados. This initiative underscores Air Peace’s commitment to expanding its global footprint and creating new gateways for African travellers to explore the Caribbean.

Building on the airline’s previous successful Caribbean operations — including its historic Lagos–Montego Bay (Jamaica) charter in 2020 and the Abuja–St. Kitts & Nevis service in 2025 — this new initiative reinforces Air Peace’s strategic vision to bridge continents and enhance interregional travel.

For tour packages, Air Peace is partnering with Tour Brokers International (Nigeria), Sun Seekers Tours (Ghana), and Adansi Travels (Ghana) to offer exclusive tour packages.

Fares for the Antigua and Barbados monthly scheduled flights are now live, and customers have been advised to book directly via the Air Peace website – www.flyairpeace.com or any of its accredited travel agents.

As Nigeria and West Africa’s largest airline, Air Peace currently serves over 20 domestic routes, 10 regional destinations, and eight international routes, including London, Dubai, Jeddah, Johannesburg, Mumbai, and now the Caribbean.

Operating one of the most modern fleets in Africa, its growing fleet includes Boeing 777s, Airbus A330s, Boeing 737s, Embraer 195-E2s, Embraer 190, Embraer 145 and Dornier aircraft, all maintained to world-class safety and reliability standards.
