In a bold stride toward reshaping Nigeria’s automotive landscape, Suzuki by CFAO Mobility celebrated the graduation of its latest Empower Her 3.0 cohort on November 7th, 2025—a milestone moment that reinforced the company’s commitment to excellence in aftersales service and the empowerment of Nigeria’s automotive workforce.
Initiated by Mrs. Aissatou Diouf, General Manager of Suzuki by CFAO Mobility, the Suzuki by CFAO Empower Her Program was designed to train and certify young Nigerian women in modern automobile maintenance, diagnostics, and repair specifically tailored to Suzuki’s range of vehicles.
Elevating Aftersales Excellence for Suzuki Vehicles

The program addresses a critical need in Nigeria’s automotive sector: the shortage of skilled technicians capable of maintaining new-generation vehicles equipped with advanced technology. By investing in comprehensive technical training, Suzuki by CFAO Mobility is building a robust aftersales ecosystem that ensures every Suzuki vehicle from the rugged Jimny to the efficient Dzire sedan receives professional maintenance that enhances performance, safety, and longevity.

“Through this program, we’re not just building mechanics—we’re creating a network of certified professionals who understand the unique engineering and technology behind every Suzuki model. This directly translates to superior aftersales service, increased vehicle lifespan, and greater value for our customers. When you educate a woman, you educate a nation.”
Strengthening the Suzuki by CFAO Mobility Value Chain
The Suzuki by CFAO Empower Her Program is central to the company’s strategy to differentiate itself in Nigeria’s competitive automotive market. While many brands focus solely on vehicle sales, Suzuki by CFAO Mobility is investing in the entire ownership experience—ensuring that customers who purchase a Suzuki vehicle can access skilled, certified technicians who understand their vehicles inside out.
Through comprehensive hands-on training, mentorship, and exposure to Suzuki’s global maintenance standards, participants gained technical expertise in:
Advanced diagnostics for Suzuki’s modern engine management systems
Preventive maintenance protocols specific to Suzuki models
Repair techniques for Suzuki’s fuel-efficient powertrains:

Customer service excellence aligned with Suzuki by CFAO Mobility’s brand values
This initiative reinforces Suzuki by CFAO Mobility’s positioning as not just a car seller, but a complete mobility solutions provider committed to long-term customer satisfaction and vehicle reliability.
Women at the Wheel of Change:

A hallmark of the 2025 graduation was the impressive number of women who successfully completed the program. Breaking barriers in what has long been perceived as a male-dominated field, these women are now certified to service the full range of Suzuki vehicles, from routine maintenance on the Alto K-10 to complex repairs on the Fronx, Jimny, and Grand Vitara SUVs.

Their stories inspire a generation of girls to dream beyond limits—to see technical education not just as a skill, but as a pathway to independence, confidence, and leadership.

“These young women are not just fixing cars; they’re fixing systems,” Mrs. Diouf added. “They’re showing that the future of Nigeria’s automotive industry can be diverse, innovative, and inclusive.”
Panel Discussion: “Woman Arise: Breaking Barriers, Building Nations”
The graduation ceremony featured a compelling panel discussion titled “Woman Arise: Breaking Barriers, Building Nations,” which explored how education and skills development unlock women’s potential to drive national progress.

Anchored by Mariam Abdurrahman, an Independent Finance Consultant, Portfolio CFO, and Angel Investor with 18 years of progressive experience leading finance functions across multinationals and high-growth startups, the session brought together industry captains and politically savvy thought leaders who shared insights on women’s empowerment, economic inclusion, and the transformative power of technical education.

The event was graced by Mrs Folashade Ambrose-Medebem Commissioner of Commerce, Cooperatives, Trade & Investment, Lagos State, other panelists at the event are
Sylva Omlenyi, Managing Director, CFAO Yamaha,
Mrs Kafilat Adetola Ogbara, Member Representing Kosofe Constituency at the House of Representatives,
Fola Akinrilola, Director, MedEquip Nigeria Ltd,
and Mrs Racheal Iheanacho, Acting Head of Human Resources, CFAO Mobility Nigeria and Mrs Dayo Bankole-Hameed, founder and chief executive, Mirabol Integrated Services.

The panelists engaged in robust conversations that addressed critical questions spanning governance, corporate leadership, and national development.
The discussion resonated deeply with the graduates, reinforcing that their journey as certified technicians represent more than personal achievement, it symbolizes a broader movement toward gender equity and economic transformation in Nigeria.

Certificate Distribution and Recognition:

The highlight of the ceremony was the presentation of certificates to the 14 graduates by the distinguished panelists, industry captains and influential leaders who represent excellence across various sectors.

Their presence and participation in the certificate presentation underscored the significance of the program and the caliber of professionals now joining Nigeria’s automotive service industry.

As each graduate received her certification, the moment was marked by pride, accomplishment, and the promise of a future where skilled women mechanics are integral to maintaining the quality and reliability of Suzuki vehicles across Nigeria.
Driving Economic Impact and Vehicle Quality:

By equipping mechanics with world-class technical know-how, the program is strengthening the entire automotive value chain. From improved customer satisfaction to safer, better-maintained vehicles on Nigerian roads, the ripple effects are clear: this is not just training—it’s transformation.

The program’s impact is already being felt across Suzuki by CFAO Mobility dealerships, authorized service centers, and communities where graduates are applying their skills. They’re reducing the dependence on untrained roadside mechanics, improving diagnostic accuracy, and ultimately enhancing road safety while elevating the Suzuki by CFAO Mobility brand experience.

A Vision for the Future
The Suzuki by CFAO:

Empower Her Program is more than a one-time intervention—it’s a growing movement to align Nigeria’s auto service ecosystem with global standards. Plans are already underway to expand the program’s reach, integrating digital diagnostics, hybrid vehicle maintenance, and entrepreneurship development for graduates who wish to establish their own authorized Suzuki service centers.

Conclusion
The November 7th graduation ceremony celebrated more than individual accomplishments—it spotlighted a new generation of skilled Nigerian women ready to drive progress, quality, and innovation across the nation’s roads while strengthening the Suzuki by CFAO Mobility brand promise of excellence in aftersales service.
As Mrs. Aissatou Diouf puts it, “Empowerment is not charity it’s a strategy for national growth. When we empower one mechanic to service Suzuki vehicles professionally, we enhance our entire mobility ecosystem and demonstrate why Suzuki by CFAO Mobility is the smart choice for Nigerian drivers”

About Suzuki by CFAO Mobility:
