PalmPay has unveiled Purple Woman 3.0 in celebration of International Women’s Day 2026, reinforcing its commitment to women’s economic empowerment. The three-day Digital Financial and Technology Masterclass is structured to provide young women with practical, employment-focused skills, reflecting the global “Give to Gain” theme through direct investment in female talent.
The initiative, which runs from March 5 to 7, 2026, is designed to bridge the gender gap in technology and financial services by providing practical training and career pathways for women aged 18 to 30. A total of 100 participants will be selected through a competitive application process for this year’s cohort.
Launched in 2024, the Purple Woman programme has already impacted 150 women across specialised fields such as Data Analysis, Software Engineering and Product Management. Beyond theoretical instruction, the programme focuses on hands-on learning, positioning participants to compete effectively in a rapidly evolving digital economy.
According to the company, Purple Woman 3.0 will feature immersive sessions led by industry experts in digital finance and technology. The curriculum is structured to provide participants with both technical capabilities and exposure to real-world fintech applications, strengthening their employability in a sector experiencing sustained growth.
Moreso, the initiative extends beyond classroom learning. 10 outstanding participants will secure three- to six-month internship placements with PalmPay, offering direct industry experience within the fintech ecosystem. This internship pathway is expected to provide professional exposure, mentorship, and potential long-term career opportunities.
