United Capital Asset Management Limited carted home the big prize at the Business A.M. 2021 Mutual Funds Outlook and Awards when it was named the Fund Manager of the year 2021 at the event held virtually and viewed from across the world. The company emerged from a pack of formidable fund managers that included Stanbic IBTC Asset Management Limited and FSDH Asset Management Limited.
The e-conference and award ceremony which was held via zoom saw PAC Asset Management Ltd clinching the Equities Manager of the year award (Gold Category) for their Pacam Equity Fund beating two other contenders, AXA Mansard Investments Limited (Vantage Equity Income Fund) and Anchoria Asset Management Limited (Anchoria Equity Fund) while the Multi-Asset Manager of the Year (Gold Category) award went to AIICO Capital Ltd for its AIICO Balanced Fund.
The award ceremony was part of the 2021 edition of the Business a.m. conference which focused on the prospects of mutual funds in the Nigerian capital market. The conference saw participants drawn from asset management firms and general stakeholders in the Nigerian capital market.
