Japan-headquartered Suzuki Motors Corporation has given awards to Suzuki by CFAO in Nigeria in recognition of the dealership’s sterling achievement in the local automotive market space.
A few months ago, Suzuki by CFAO Nigeria received a Certificate of Excellence jointly signed by Koichi Suzuki, senior executive officer, international marketing at Maruti Suzuki India Limited, and Kinji Saito, director and senior managing officer, Global Automobile Marketing, Suzuki Motor Corporation, as the overall winner for being the highest in terms of Suzuki market share and improvement throughout the year 2021 in the category B of the African market.
Suzuki by CFAO Nigeria, which became a distributor of the Japanese brand in the country three years ago, received an achievement award from the automaker in recognition of its dedication and achievement in increasing sales in Nigeria by more than 150 percent in 2021 compared to 2020.
Suzuki by CFAO in Nigeria was also awarded for the appreciation of its market share in 2021 compared to 2020.
It would be recalled that Suzuki by CFAO Motors received the ‘Strongest Comeback Car Brand of the Year’ award at last year’s edition of the Nigeria Auto Journalists Association (NAJA) awards night held at the Eko Hotel & Suites in Lagos.
“It is a great honour for the Suzuki team to have received such an award from the Nigerian automotive journalists. We are happy Nigerians have warmed up to our brand and it gladdens our hearts to see Suzuki cars on the road nationwide,” Aissatou Diouf, general manager, Suzuki by CFAO, said in reaction to the awards.
She expressed appreciation to customers for trusting the company and promised that her team would continue to seek ways to enhance their driving experience.
On the marketing strategies adopted by the team that shaped and increased public awareness of the brand within a very short period of her assumption of office, Diouf said that the team actively listened to Suzuki customers to better understand their expectations and create offers to suit their needs.
“We understand that our customers are our greatest assets, and for us to be successful, we have to give them the best value for their money. We introduced the Smart Link display innovation to some models, expanded our after-sales network, and also engaged more with our customers through our various lifestyle events,” she said.
She expressed confidence in the dealership’s ability to continue to provide effective mobility solutions. Among other projections, the general manager explained that her team is focused on providing various customer-friendly financing options, which include CFAO’s new operating lease business, LOXEA.
“We will continue to expand our aftersales and sales network and guarantee exceptional service to all Nigerians wherever they are,” Diouf said.
