In a show of commitment to the growth of the insurance sector in Nigeria, AXA Mansard Insurance has extended its two promotional schemes, AXA Mansard Awoof Xtra and Double-Double Promo, till June 2024. The company, a member of AXA, a global leader in insurance and asset management, believes that these schemes will help Nigerians to build resilience against uncertainties.
According to the company the extension of the AXA Mansard Awoof Xtra and Double-Double promo, designed for the 3rd Party and comprehensive motor insurance categories is to enable Nigerians and its customers whose policies were still active last year to benefit from the promo offerings.
Under the Double-Double scheme, customers who purchase or renew comprehensive insurance policies with AXA Mansard will receive free fire insurance coverage for their homes, equal to the sum insured on their vehicles. For example, if a customer insures their car for one million naira, they will receive free fire insurance for their home, also worth one million naira.
Under the Awoof Xtra scheme, customers who purchase or renew their 3rd Party Motor Insurance policies from AXA Mansard will be eligible to receive gifts such as vouchers, phones, airtime, and other exciting prizes.
Commenting on the promo extension, Rashidat Adebisi, chief client officer at AXA Mansard, stated that the goal of the promotions is to encourage more Nigerians to protect themselves and build financial resilience.
Adebisi further stated that the extension of the promotion period until mid-year would enable more people to take advantage of the benefits offered and increase insurance penetration in the country.
“For us at AXA Mansard, we will continue to push the boundaries to find increased ways of getting more Nigerians to embrace the insurance culture. We are convinced that one way to drive insurance penetration in Nigeria is for more people to see insurance in action. Our citizens can’t see insurance in action when they don’t have insurance policies. So, we believe extending this promo will allow more Nigerians to try out insurance and know that it is as rewarding as any other financial service they are used to,’’ she said.
On his part, Kunle Ahmed, CEO of AXA Mansard Insurance, explained that the company’s decision to focus on motor and fire insurance as anchor products was a conscious one, as these products are considered to be crucial to the growth of the insurance sector in Nigeria.
