….As model line-up is unveiled at City Mall

Nigerian car enthusiasts woke up again last week Thursday, July 04, 2024 to the cheering news of the formal unveling of different models of the Chery brand right inside the Ikeja City Mall, Lagos with many dignitaries in attendance.

Cutting of the ribbons that heralded the official launching of the fast growing brand in Nigeria by Liang Long, the chief executive officer of Chery Global, assisted by Sola Adigun, managing director of Carloha, owners of the Chery brand franchise in Nigeria and Mike Ochonma, president of Nigeria Auto Journalists Association (NAJA) marks another milestone in the history of the brand to cut its slice of the local automotive market.

Recall that, similar brand activations have taken place in other strategic locations including The Palms, Lekki, and the public unveiling and launching of the Chery models the last Lagos Motorfair on June 5, 2024 inside the Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos. Few weeks ago, there was a historic test drive of the new Chery models from the Carloha showroom at Alapere through the Third Mainland Bridge and back to the showroom by motoring journalists, captains of industry and other social influencers.

The event at Ikeja City Mall was a huge success, with customers, partners, and stakeholders in the automotive business graced the occasion to celebrate this exciting new addition to the mall.

During the keynote address, the sales and marketing director, Joseph Omokhapue, said the major reason why Carloha opened the Chery Showroom at Ikeja City Mall is to maximise the proximity to the Lagos state government house, as well as harness the business opportunity therein, and more importantly bring automotive solutions to the target audience in Ikeja community.

He further stressed on Carloha’s initiatives of

making vehicle ownership easy and affordable. “Deposit a N5 million naira on any Chery vehicle in the month of July, and get 5% discount on any Chery vehicle of choice, from Tiggo 8 pro, Tiggo 4 pro, Tiggo 2 pro and Arrizo 5 respectively. Carloha also offers 6 years free service as well as 6 years warranty or 200,000 kilometers whichever comes first”.

Omokhapue said that, the showroom at Ikeja City Mall is a hub for automobile lovers to explore the advantage of Chery innovative technology.

Guests were treated to a first look at the sleek and stylish Chery vehicles on display in the showroom. The showroom was buzzed with excitement as attendees mingled and enjoyed refreshments while learning more about the features that Chery has to offer.

We are grateful for the overwhelming support from everyone who attended the launch event, and we look forward to welcoming even more customers to our showroom in the coming days.
