CIAPS to host organisation leaders, HR managers for end of the year lecture

The Commonwealth Institute for Advanced and Professional Studies (CIAPS), has announced its readiness to  host organisation leaders and human resource managers at the 2022 edition of  its end of year lecture themed “Creating a Culture of Excellence for Productivity and Profit.”

 

The event, scheduled  to take place on Wednesday, 14th December 2022, at the CIAPS Hall,,Lagos, is an opportunity for CEOs and organisation leaders both in the private and public sector as well as human resources managers to meet with their peers across sectors to share tips and plan for the new year in a fun-filled and informative atmosphere.

It will be chaired by Tajudeen Akande, a chartered accountant, financial analyst and CEO, PKF Professional Services, Nigeria and Director, Africa Regional Board of PKF Int’l Ltd, while Anthony Kila, CIAPS centre director and Professor of Strategy and Development, will be the keynote speaker.

The event Panelists include; Yemi Kolapo, managing director/editor-in-chief, The Point Newspapers, Yvonne Ezekiel, managing partner of Olisa Agbakoba Legal, and Muda Yusuf, CEO of the Centre for the Promotion of Private Enterprise (CPPE).

According to a statement by CIAPS, the end of year public lecture has been put together as a mixture of entertainment, reflection and planning.

“Each event will start at 2 pm and finish at 4 pm but will have its red carpet and cocktails open at 1 pm. Drinks and music will follow till late,” the statement added.

Commenting on the CIAPS public lecture series, Anthony Kila,CIAPS centre director, said; “The event is part of our efforts to understand and help to improve the world we live in.”

He added that the lecture is an opportunity to engage with professionals on issues that will soon affect their world.

The forthcoming event is by invitation only and intending participants can register on the CIAPS website www.ciaps.org.
