Coronation Asset Management has listed its flagship infrastructure vehicle on the main board of the Nigerian Exchange, in a move its executives say will broaden investor access to long-term capital projects.
The Coronation Infrastructure Fund (CIF), managed by the asset management arm of Coronation Group, debuted in Lagos on Monday with an N8.79 billion offering. The listing comprises 87.9 million units priced at N100 each.
Aigbovbioise Aig-Imoukhuede, chief executive of Coronation Asset Management, described the fund as a category-defining product for Nigeria’s capital markets. He said CIF would provide investors with a liquid, risk-managed way to gain exposure to the country’s infrastructure build-out, spanning transport, energy and housing.
“The Coronation Infrastructure Fund is rooted in deep market insight, backed by strong governance, and built to generate wealth sustainably. More importantly, it plays a catalytic role in addressing Nigeria’s infrastructure deficit by directing long-term capital into the sectors that matter most,”Aig-Imoukhuede said.

CIF has already drawn attention in Nigeria’s financial markets this year, after completing the country’s largest-ever Series I capital raise for an infrastructure fund. It has since distributed N1.7 billion in dividends and built a record across transportation, energy, real estate and utilities.
Mayowa Ikotun, head of the fund, said CIF had become Nigeria’s best-performing maiden infrastructure fund, offering investors a blend of capital preservation, semi-annual income and impact investing.
Ikotun added that the listing represented a turning point for the asset class. “It’s the moment infrastructure investing becomes democratised through our product offering. By bringing infrastructure closer to investors through deliberate product innovation, Coronation is not just reshaping what wealth creation means in Africa, we are building a continuum of opportunity,” he stated.
The group is preparing a Series II issuance, which Ikotun said would continue its mission to bridge purpose and performance, as it continues to expand investor access to the transformative potential of infrastructure.
