The management of Dangote refinery has firmly refuted speculations that it has set the pump price of petrol at N600 per litre for sale to marketers nationwide.
A statement signed by Anthony Chiejina, the group chief branding and communications officer of Dangote Industries Limited, clarified that the speculation suggesting that marketers expect the refinery to sell petrol at N600 per litre is not reflective of the refinery’s position.
Chiejina noted that the company has not partnered with the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN), and has no authority to speculate on the price at which the management intends to sell petrol.
