The Dangote Group has announced that three associations of marketers in the Nigerian oil sector have been registered as distributors of refined products from its Dangote Petroleum Refinery.

A statement, which was released via the company’s X page, said the marketers registered as distributors of refined products from the Dangote Petroleum Refinery include members of the Depot and Petroleum Products Marketers Association of Nigeria(DAPPMAN), the Major Oil Marketers Association of Nigeria (MOMAN), and the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria ( (IPMAN).

The statement read“Three prominent associations, that constitute 75 per cent of the total market in Nigeria have been registered.

“The Depot and Petroleum Products Marketers Association of Nigeria, the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria , and the Major Oil Marketers Association of Nigeria.”

In addition to the three registered associations, Dangote Group has also indicated that it is considering other marketers that have expressed interest in partnering with the refinery. This is in line with the company’s goal of working with a wide range of players in the petroleum sector, and ensuring that its products are widely available across the country.

According to reports, both MOMAN and IPMAN have registered to distribute products from the Dangote Refinery across Nigeria. However, the Dangote Group has not yet announced a specific timeline for when the refinery’s products, including petrol, will be available in the market.
