Dream VC, an investor accelerator and community-driven platform providing rigorous remote programmes for aspiring African investors centering around venture, says African Diaspora Network (ADN) is its newest ecosystem partner.

ADN is a non-profit organisation with a mission aimed at sustainably serving constituencies, marketplace, and partners through energising collaboration among Silicon Valley entrepreneurs, philanthropists, and African diasporans to uplift Africa and the communities. ADN is dedicated to providing virtual and physical forums to accelerate access to resources that foster partnership, knowledge sharing, and advance investment opportunities.

ADN’s vision is to activate capital from the African diaspora and friends of Africa for the development of Africa and communities around the world. We are excited about a fruitful partnership that will help drive more growth, innovation, and collaboration toward the African continent going into the future.

ADN runs the Builders of Africa’s Future (BAF) Programme, which celebrates innovation and impact in early-stage African enterprises. Since 2018, Builders of Africa’s Future has recognized and catalysed 53 African startups. The programme identifies African entrepreneurs running early-stage nonprofits or for-profit businesses that address key community needs through technology or differentiated business models

The goal is to help scale their ventures and impact in the areas of health, education, energy, agriculture, financial inclusion, gender inclusion, nutrition, commerce, industrial development, and other socioeconomic goods. The BAF programme awards 10 to 15 of Africa’s most promising entrepreneurs with enterprise development training, mentorship and networking opportunities, and a platform to boost brand visibility and investment potential in Silicon Valley.

Applications are due by March 22, 2023 and can be found here – https://africandiaspora.smapply.io/
