FirstBank offers special discounts, deals to debit, credit cards customers

Debit and credit cards customers of FirstBank, the Nigerian Tier-1 bank with operations across Africa, Europe and China, are set to enjoy huge discounts from using the cards to make purchases of goods and services, the bank said in a statement released at the weekend.

The special discounts, some as high as 40 percent, come on the back of the bank’s partnership with a number of goods and services providers.

In a statement signed by Folake Ani-Mumuney, group head, marketing & corporate communications, the bank explained that the partnered discount offerings on its issued debit and credit card are exclusive and are available at Hotel Presidential, Port Harcourt and Swiss International – The Vistana Lekki, where they can enjoy up to over 40 percent discount.

FirstBank has an array of cards which holders can benefit from the discounts on offer.

Specifically, the bank explained that the benefits are available to users of FirstBank-issued cards such as Visa Infinite, Visa Gold, Visa Debit Multi-currency, and Visa Prepaid card. Other cards are Naira Master Card, Naira Credit Card, MasterCard Platinum, Verve and Verve Prepaid Card.

Chuma Ezirim, group executive, e-business & retail products said: “Holders of FirstBank issued cards have access to unique banking solutions that meet their lifestyles and aspirations. Our cards are designed to provide a wide range of exclusive benefits to our valued customers putting them at an advantage of being able to manage their finances.

“Our state-of-the-art electronically driven banking products and service offerings remain essential to bridging the digital divide. We will continue to spearhead the adoption of electronic banking services by our customers, irrespective of where they are the world over, whilst staying true to our name of providing the gold standard of banking service’’ he  concluded.

The bank said its issued cards are very secure as they enable cardholders to conveniently meet their daily financial needs, including payment for goods and services, airtime recharge, bill payments, funds transfer, etc. All ATMs, POS, Web and Mobile Platforms in Nigeria accept the variety of cards issued by the bank.
