Globacom-Palmpay bonanza promo produces first batch of lucky winners

Globacom, one of Nigeria’s leading telecommunications operators,  has begun rewarding loyal subscribers through the second edition of its Recharge and Win Bonanza, a nationwide customer loyalty campaign launched in partnership with fintech platform, Palmpay.

The ongoing promotion, which kicked off in June 2025 and runs until August 8, is open exclusively to Glo subscribers who recharge their lines via the Palmpay app. The campaign is designed to incentivise regular usage with the promise of attractive prizes, including smartphones, accessories, and cash rewards.

According to the company, subscribers interested in participating can do so by following instructions provided through official Palmpay channels and recharging directly via the app. “Every transaction above N500 gives participants an additional chance to win prizes,” the telco added.

Now in its third week, the campaign has already produced multiple winners across various regions. Among the latest beneficiaries is Basirat Mayowa Opatunji, a resident of Osogbo, Osun State, who won an Infinix Hot 40 smartphone. Other winners include Wisdom Anayo Uzoma, Afeez Akanfe Muraina, and Oyedikachi Herbert, each of whom received a pair of AirPods.

Globacom noted that arrangements have been made to ensure nationwide reach and fairness, as winners residing outside Lagos can collect their prizes at Palmpay offices nearest to them.

Beyond the weekly draws, the bonanza also features a daily social media challenge, offering participants an additional opportunity to win cash prizes through fun and interactive online tasks.

As part of the broader incentive structure, the telco also highlighted other incentives integrated into the campaign. Palmpay users enjoy up to 6 percent cashback when purchasing Glo airtime or data via the app. Furthermore, customers who haven’t activated a Glo data plan in the past 90 days will receive a 100 percent bonus on their recharge during the promo period.

The Recharge and Win Bonanza is not only about prizes; it’s about rewarding loyalty and enhancing the digital lifestyle of customers.

With the bonanza still ongoing, Globacom is reaffirming its commitment to rewarding customer loyalty while deepening digital access and convenience through its collaboration with Palmpay.
