Investors, regulators discuss ways to grow investment in aviation sector

Private investors and regulators in the aviation sector are meeting right now at Raddison Blu Hotel, GRA Ikeja to discuss ways to boost investment in the sector at an industry event organised by League of Airport and Aviation Correspondents (LAAC).
Roland Iyayi, an airline captain and chief executive officer of TopBrass Aviation Limited, Muneer Bankole, CEO, Med-View Airline, Nick Fadugba, former secretary general of African Airlines Association (AFRAA) and Harold Demuren, former director-general of the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), are among top industry players delivering papers at the conference.
With the theme: “Boosting Aviation Investment Through Policy,” the conference has attracted a large pool of aviation stakeholders, and is being chaired by Muneer Bankole, the Med-View CEO.

Iyayi , LAAC stated, is delivering a paper on ‘Boosting Aviation Investment Through Policy: An Airline Perspective,” while Demuren, who is the lead speaker is delivering a paper on: ‘Boosting Aviation Investment Through Policy: Government Perspective.’
Demuren is sharing his wealth of experience after years of serving in both public and private sectors of the aviation industry. Demuren is currently the President of Flight Safety Foundation (FSF) West Africa.
The conference is expected to be attended by over 250 aviation industry professionals, cutting across the aviation agencies, security agencies, international and domestic airlines operating in Nigeria, aviation support services, travel trade sellers and buyers and captains of the aviation industry in Nigeria.
