IHTEF 6th seminar taps collaboration, investment, sustainability in hospitality

Tourism and hospitality experts, academics, investors, bureaucrats will converge on Hawthorn Suites, Abuja as the International Hospitality, Tourism & Eco-Sustainability Forum (IHTEF) holds its sixth annual hospitality seminar this month.
It is a premium hospitality forum for hospitality investors, tourism and hospitality owners, managers, development organisations, experts, brand managers, financial institutions, food and beverage companies, among many others.
Chibuikem Diala, chief executive officer, Sustainable Eco6tem Limited, who also doubles as executive director, International Hospitality, Tourism & Eco-Sustainability Forum, said that “policy makers, hospitality enthusiasts travel and tour personalities in Nigeria, or parts of Africa” are urged to join in the sixth edition of International Hospitality, Tourism & Eco-Sustainability Forum (IHTEF).

With the theme, “Collaboration, Investments and Sustainability,” the seminar, according to him, will be engaging at this time of Nigeria’s democratic transition that requires a combination of skills, knowledge and systems to create beneficial outcomes for the sector.
“Hence topical discussions with linked conversations that are beyond mere hospitality functionality but necessary for collaboration, investments and sustainability will be on the front burner,” he stated.
Meanwhile, the speakers who by virtue of their expertise and vast experience are expected to bring new perspectives to the theme include, Belinda Nwosu, of the Faculty of Organisational Behaviour & Human Resources of the Lagos Business School; Adesoji Adesugba, managing director and chief executive officer, Nigeria Export Processing Zones Authority; Aliyu Faruk, director, North South Power.
Also, Trevor Ward, managing director, W Hospitality Group, a specialist consultant in the hospitality and real estate sectors, whose international experience includes advising clients on hotel and other types of development in more than 90 countries across Africa, Europe, North and South America, the Caribbean and Asia. He has a special focus in Africa where he has worked for 40 years.
