IHTIL Coaching, in collaboration with the YALI Network Lagos, successfully concluded the Career Benchmark Masterclass (CBM 3.0) themed “Rewriting the Rules”, held from October 9 to 10, 2025, at The American Corner, Lekki.

The two-day technical masterclass convened over 30 emerging professionals for a comprehensive program designed to build employability competence and workplace readiness.

Participants engaged in structured sessions covering résumé optimization, interview strategy, professional communication, and digital productivity tools, including Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace applications.

In her opening remarks, Ginika Obinna-Okorie, Founder and Lead Coach at IHTIL Coaching, stated that the initiative was developed to address the widening skill-performance gap observed among young professionals entering the workforce.

> “Our focus with CBM 3.0 was to deliver a results-driven learning experience that equips participants with both the technical and behavioral competencies required for modern workplaces,” she noted.

A highlight of the program was the Assessment Centre Simulation, which evaluated participants’ critical thinking, collaboration, and prioritization skills through a group presentation, in-tray analysis, and team task exercise. The approach enabled participants to apply learned concepts in simulated workplace environments, reinforcing experiential learning.

Facilitators drawn from diverse professional backgrounds delivered high-impact sessions emphasizing the integration of soft and hard skills for optimal career performance.

According to Mr. Ojo Semasa, Coordinator of YALI Network Lagos, “Skill acquisition is only the beginning. The real measure of impact lies in the consistent application of what has been learned.”

The program concluded with an evaluation and certification exercise recognizing participants who met defined performance benchmarks. The organizing team – Olumide Hamzat, Goldy Godfrey, Elisha Oghenekevbe Umukoro, and Jesse Nosike-Imala were commended for their coordination and operational efficiency.

IHTIL Coaching in Partnership with YALI reaffirmed its commitment to advancing career development through structured training interventions, mentorship, and employability-focused initiatives that align with contemporary industry standards.m jobs and succeed at the various places of work.
