Julius Berger appoints new managing director/chief executive

Julius Berger Nigeria Plc., one of Nigeria’s leading construction companies, Thursday announced the appointment of Lars Richter as its new managing director/chief executive.

In a notice to the Nigerian Stock Exchange, the construction company informed the public and stakeholders that Ritchie would resume office on October 16, 2018 following the resignation of Wolfgang Goetsh from the position on October 15.

The company also announced that a new directorate, corporate development, would be established, and would be headed by Tobias Meletschus who will resume office on October 16.

The board of directors voiced optimism about the appointments saying, “the new Directors will bring to bear on their functions as Executive Directors and the future directions of the Group, the wealth of their experience and expertise.”
