La Giara, Sheraton Lagos Hotel’s Italian restaurant, reopens May, following renovation

La Giara, the Italian restaurant of Ikeja based Sheraton Lagos Hotel, is reopening on May 17, 2018, and that’s official. Located on the boisterous Mobolaji Bank Anthony Way in the heart of the Ikeja bubbling area, the hotel management said the reopening is following a renovation programme that has elevated the quality, feel and offering of the restaurant.

Described as authentically Italian, La Giara is said to bring to life different flavours of Italy with its unique style of cooking and offering a distinct rustic feel, an open kitchen plan that allows aromas to emanate to tease diners of the exquisite food about to excite their taste buds.

The hotel management said in a statement made available to businessamlive.com that the restaurant has undergone works to bring the Italian charm of dining to life.

“Guests will be able to get the full Italian dining experience as they enjoy the traditional Italian recipe, in a stylish contemporary environment. The new menu consists of traditional hand crafted dishes ranging from pizzas to pastas that are sure to delight lovers of Italian cuisine,” it explained.

Apart from the culinary that will be on offer when it reopens, diners are being promised a new ambience as a result of the renovation. According to a statement by the Sheraton Lagos Hotel, it has “carefully selected items [for] the décor to create a modern ambience,” adding that, “it is guaranteed that all guests will leave feeling satisfied after being fully immersed in the culinary culture it provides.”

The hotel said this promise is based on its strongly held slogan, that “at Sheraton Lagos, we ‘Go Beyond’ words”, noting that by doing this, the hotel believes that it will be cementing its place as a hotel not just for business travelers, but also a property that creates experiences for leisure seekers too.

It boasted that with its proven success and exceptional reputation in culinary expertise, The Sheraton Lagos Hotel was looking forward to inviting all food lovers and enthusiasts to the property to try out the new La Giara, when it reopens.

The management further explained that The Sheraton Lagos Hotel delivers effortless travel experiences allowing guests experience more. It combines international facilities with the warm and welcoming spirit of Nigerian hospitality, it said. It has 332 guest rooms and suites of which, all furnished with the signature Sheraton Bed to provide a premium sleep experience, four meeting rooms, a ball room, 5 F&B outlets, a world class gym and a swimming pool; the hotel provides services aimed at creating personalized and effortless experiences ensuring that guests whether on business or on leisure can always experience more.
