Lagos welcomes more travellers as BON Hotel Ikeja Residence berths in GRA

The ever thriving Ikeja GRA in Lagos, Nigeria has got busier with the opening of a new 5-star hotel that adds to the over 100 existing luxury hotels in the area, now known as Lagos’ busiest city offering Lagosians and travellers to the country that cosy night life missing in a million cities.

The BON Hotel Ikeja Residence welcomes its guests to an outstandingly large lobby not commonly seen in Nigeria. It’s as if there’s a deliberate statement being made once you step into the lobby, like, “This is home and it’s big enough” for its guests, who will not miss the roomy restaurant facing the lobby.

Located in the heart of Ikeja GRA, BON Hotel Ikeja Residence is ideal for business and leisure travellers, offering a total of 90 guest rooms. Room types cover three categories ranging from standard to luxury suite accommodation.

With each room designed to suit travelling needs, all suites have small kitchenette facilities, perfect for the longer staying guest. Guests in all rooms will also enjoy amenities such as a satellite smart LED TV with USB port, mini-fridge, air-conditioning, working desk, tea and coffee making facilities, digital safe and more.

Hotel facilities include a swimming pool, restaurant, room service, bar and a conference room. The hotel is centrally located with an estimated 10 – 15 minutes’ drive to the international airport, Ikeja City Mall, Ikeja Secretariat and the African Shrine. A masterpiece in the BON Hotel family, a global hospitality giant, guests in BON Hotel Ikeja Residence will enjoy the Africa-wise BONami guest reward programme currently going on.

BONami is a hospitality rewards programme with immediate benefits and discounts to guests, according to Traveller & Hospitality findings. “It is our way of saying thank you for staying with us, and also a way of welcoming you to the BON family. Think of us as your friend with benefits,” an explanatory note on the hotel’s website reads.

When guests quote their BONami card number when making a reservation or present their cards on arrival, they get 20 percent off the best available rate-of-the-day at participating BON Hotels in Africa.

In addition to other benefits, guests enjoy a welcome pack that includes complimentary vouchers and discounts on foods.

BONami members may request an early check in from 12:00 hours or a late checkout up until 16:00 horrs from the hotel at no additional cost, subject to availability. Guests are however, required to provide their contact details, arrival and departure information in advance.

BON Hotel Ikeja Residence is not the only hotel opening this year in Nigeria under the BON chain. BON Hotels is expanding in Nigeria. New hotels opening in Nigeria this year include BON Hotel Treasure Suites, BON Hotel in Ado Ekiti, Awka, BON Hotel Tripod, Oweri, Enugu, Lafia, Lekki, Maitama in Abuja and Yola.
