Mojisola Adeola resigns as NGX Group company secretary

The  Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX) has notified the investing public of the resignation of  Mojisola Ruth  Adeola, the Group Company Secretary/head of Compliance Group Plc,which took  effect from December 31, 2022.

 

This was disclosed in a statement dated January 3,2023,signed by Oscar N. Onyema, the Group managing director/chief executive officer, and published on the NGX platform.

 

Adeola is  an experienced company secretary and legal adviser with a proven track record of working in Capital Markets, a public company in the oil & gas (downstream) industry and several other sectors.

 

She  actively drove the successful demutualization of the Nigerian Stock Exchange, providing active support to the National Council (board), the Demutualization Advisory Committee and other committees.

 

Adeola, whose interest is  in corporate governance, compliance, financing transactions and international development agency work,  also provided transaction support for several IPOs, Rights Issue, Private Placements, Financing Transactions, Mergers & Acquisitions and Deal Advisory for domestic and international clients.

 

Prior to her career at NGX, she served as the company secretary/legal adviser for Acorn Petroleum Plc from  March 2012  to September  2015.
