MTN, Tecno promote digital inclusion with Spark10 5G Smartphone

MTN Nigeria has sealed a partnership with smartphone manufacturer, Tecno to launch the SPARK 10 5G smartphone, driven by a joint commitment  to drive digital inclusion  and make 5G network available and affordable for the average Nigerian.

The smartphone was unveiled to the public recently at the Jewel Aeida event centre, Lekki Phase 1 in Lagos.

During the event, Tecno showcased the SPARK10 5G’s advanced features, designed to attract tech-savvy consumers who demand high-speed internet connectivity, a fast processor, and a long- lasting battery. The device has a 6.8-inch HD+ display which delivers clear, vivid visuals, while the 50 MP AI quad-camera allows users to capture stunning photos and videos in any lighting condition.

In addition, the Spark 10 Series has a large 5000 mAh battery, 256 GB of ROM storage, 16 GB of RAM, and expandable RAM storage of up to eight GB. Its powerful octa-core processor, 6.8-inch screen, large RAM, and massive storage space enable it to play graphics-intensive games smoothly, and the phone’s 5G compatibility allows gamers to enjoy their favourite online games without buffering

Officials of MTN Nigeria and TECNO said the partnership between both companies aims to provide Nigerians with a top-of-the-range smartphone that will deliver 5G connectivity and exceptional performance. They also assured that the collaboration will improve Nigerians’ experience as TECNO will provide cutting-edge technology and design to make ultrafast MTN 5G connectivity with low latency on their TECNO SPARK 10.

Commenting on the partnership, Osaze Ebueke, senior manager,marketing and strategy,MTN Nigeria, said the collaboration will deepen access to more telephone to the game-changing technology and democratise its usage.

The SPARK 10 5G is available in all TECNO-authorized stores nationwide, and customers who purchase the device will enjoy up to 5GB and an additional 11GB of free data.
