NACCIMA gathers city leaders to economic diplomacy

The Nigerian Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (NACCIMA), the leading voice of the organised private sector in the country, recently gathered leaders of its various city chambers to an economic diplomacy dialogue with the diplomatic community, in Abuja.

Among the leaders are the deputy president, Emi Membere-Otaji and past president of Port Harcourt Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PHCCIMA), Nabil Saleh (also PHCCIMA past presidentand now life president of the city chamber) and the current president, Chinyere Nwoga.

The dialogue is aimed to establish a robust framework for seamless collaboration between Nigeria’s business community and international embassies, with NACCIMA serving as the pivotal link for businesses across the country.

NACCIMA, the leading voice of Nigeria’s business sector and current chair of the organised private sector (OPS), successfully hosted the dialogue at the federal ministry of foreign affairs in Abuja. The event, initiated by NACCIMA and facilitated by the ministries of foreign affairs and industry, trade & investments, brought together members of the diplomatic community and key stakeholders to foster stronger economic ties.

The dialogue sets the stage for the upcoming first international economic and investments summit and exhibition, to be jointly organized by the Nigerian federal government and NACCIMA. The summit will aim to strengthen economic partnerships and promote investment opportunities in Nigeria.
