Nigeria carrier, Air Peace, adjust regional flights to daytime Feb. ‘26

Sade Williams/Business a.m.

Nigeria carrier, Air Peace, is adjusting all its regional flights from February 2026 when it will offer passengers the opportunity to travel daytime instead of the current night schedules it runs.

transition them to daytime= Nigeria’s leading airline and one of Africa’s fastest-growing carriers, has announced a major enhancement to its regional network with the transition of all regional operations from night-time services to daytime flights, effective 02 February 2026.

The adjustment to the operational time schedules of the flights, said Air Peace, is designed to significantly improve passenger convenience, operational reliability, and regional connectivity, while offering more competitive schedules that align seamlessly with onward domestic, regional, and long-haul departures.

The airline said it expects the new daytime structure to strengthen its position as the preferred carrier for travel between Nigeria, West Africa, and beyond, delivering improved connectivity from Lagos to key regional markets.

A schedule of flight times for the planned February 2026 kickoff of day-time regional scheduling shows that for the Lagos – Abidjan – Dakar – Banjul – Dakar – Abidjan – Lagos, frequency will be Monday/Wednesday/Friday with specific times put at:

• LOS–ABJ: 07:00 – 07:50 ; • ABJ–DSS: 08:30 – 11:30 ; • DSS–BJL: 12:10 – 13:00 ; • BJL–DSS: 13:40 – 14:30; • DSS–ABJ: 15:10 – 18:10 ; • ABJ–LOS: 18:50 – 21:40.

For the Lagos – Accra – Monrovia – Freetown – Freetown – Monrovia – Accra – Lagos route, the frequency will be  Tuesday / Thursday / Saturday. Flight times have been listed as: • LOS–ACC: 08:00 – 08:05 ; • ACC–ROB: 08:45 – 10:45 ; • ROB–FNA: 11:25 – 12:25 ; • FNA–ROB: 13:05 – 14:05 ; • ROB–ACC: 14:45 – 16:45 ; • ACC–LOS: 17:25 – 19:25.

For the Lagos – Accra – Lagos flight, the airline announced that it would be daily with possible additional frequencies. The schedule has been listed as  • LOS–ACC: 07:00 – 07:05 (Daily) ; • ACC–LOS: 07:45 – 09:50 ; • LOS–ACC: 18:30 – 18:35 (Mon / Wed / Fri / Sun); • ACC–LOS: 19:15 – 21:20.

Air Peace also listed specific benefits that passengers and the region would derive from the decision to move flights from night time to day time.

According to the airline, the transition to daytime regional operations will:
• Enhance passenger comfort and travel experience
• Improve schedule reliability and on-time performance
• Provide stronger connectivity to night-time long-haul departures
• Support business, government, and leisure travel across West and Central Africa.

This optimised schedule gives Air Peace a strong competitive advantage over both regional and international carriers operating from Lagos, reinforcing its role as a key enabler of intra-African trade, tourism, and mobility.

In another development, the airline announced plans to expand its network in furtherance of its pursuit and commitment to expanding Africa-to-Africa connectivity.

According to the carrier, additional regional routes are planned to be introduced before the end of the first quarter of operations, including services to Douala, Libreville, Kinshasa, Conakry, Bamako, and Johannesburg.

The airline said it was inviting the travelling public, corporate partners, and the entire travel trade to take advantage of these improved daytime services with tickets available through authorized travel agencies, its website, and other approved sales channels.

It said it remains committed to delivering safe, reliable, and competitive air travel while strengthening Nigeria’s position as a major aviation hub for Africa.
