Norse Atlantic, Air Peace enter ACMI charter agreement for London operations

Norse Atlantic Airways and Nigerian carrier, Air Peace, have entered into an agreement for an Aircraft, Crew, Maintenance, and Insurance (ACMI) charter service.
The agreement represents the start of a strategic partnership aimed at providing seamless air travel solutions between London and Lagos, Nigeria, Norse Atlantic said in a statement.
Expected to begin next month, the ACMI charter will operate four times a week, offering travellers convenient and reliable transportation options between London and Lagos, two key destinations.
Under the arrangement, Norse Atlantic will use slots at London Gatwick allocated to Air Peace to facilitate this new route.

Norse Atlantic and Air Peace will continue to discuss potential longer-term partnerships between the two airlines to explore avenues for further collaboration and expansion in the future.
The airline offers affordable fares on long-haul flights, primarily between Europe and the United States.
The company was founded by Bjørn Tore Larsen, the major shareholder, in March 2021. It has a fleet of 15 modern, fuel-efficient and more environmentally friendly Boeing 787 Dreamliners that serve destinations including New York, Los Angeles, Orlando, Jamaica, Barbados, Bangkok, Miami, Oslo, Athens, London, Berlin, Rome and Paris.
Air Peace is West and Central Africa’s leading airline and began scheduled commercial flight operations in October 2014, and has experienced steady growth in route and fleet size, becoming the largest carrier in Nigeria.
The airline currently has a network of 21 domestic routes, 10 regional routes and 6 international destinations, including Dubai-UAE, Guangzhou-China, Jeddah-Saudi Arabia, Tel Aviv-Israel, Johannesburg-South Africa and Mumbai-India.
Air Peace boasts of an increasing modern fleet of over 30 aircraft, including 3 luxury Boeing 777s, 8 Embraer 145s, 1 Dornier 328 Jet, 13 Boeing 737s, 5 brand new Embraer 195-E2s(8 more to be delivered), 10 leased Airbus 320s plus firm orders for 5 brand new E175s and 10 Boeing Max aircraft.
