Chinyere Nwoga, president of the Port Harcourt Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (PHCCIMA), has praised Droomwork, a leading tech talent acquisition and human resource firm, for launching a pioneering Rivers State edition of the ‘Tech Talent Contest 2025’, an initiative which aims to unearth and promote local tech talents by providing visibility and remote job opportunities.
The PHCCIMA boss, the first female president of the chamber since its creation in 1957, stressed Rivers’ emergence as a key tech hub. “This event showcases coders, designers, and visionaries turning ideas into reality. It’s a launchpad for groundbreaking projects, and we’re thrilled that a PHCCIMA member company Droomwork is leading the charge,” Nwoga said.
Fenibo Fubara, founder/CEO of Droomwork, and chairman of PHCCIMA’s ICT trade group, said tech contest’s goal is to discover untapped talent, give them visibility, and connect them with global opportunities.
