Shuttlers, a logistics tech firm, is leveraging its expertise in the logistics sector to create ‘Shuttlers Business,” a solution that empowers employers to transform their approach to staff transportation. With the ability to purchase seats and subsidize transport, Shuttlers is helping employers cushion the effect of subsidy removal on employees.

In a statement available with Business A.M., the organisation said its focus has been on executing the most cost-effective transportation solutions for businesses and individuals, transforming the way people commute.

“With this, we are providing support to 85 businesses and over 80,000 commuters to cushion the effect of subsidy removal in Lagos, Abuja and Port Harcourt. One of our flagship offerings, Shuttlers Business, has been instrumental in reshaping employee transportation. With this innovative solution, employers gain unparalleled flexibility and cost control while providing their staff with a seamless commuting experience” the statement read.

It continues, “Through Shuttlers Business, employers can now buy seats instead of hiring entire buses. This enables the precise utilisation of transportation resources, optimising costs, and reducing unnecessary expenses. Furthermore, employers have the option to fund their employees’ wallets or contribute a percentage of their fares, effectively subsidising transportation costs. By lifting the burden of commuting expenses, employers can enhance employee satisfaction and well-being.”

Shuttlers Business offers employers complete visibility into their employees’ commuting patterns. This valuable insight allows for efficient cost optimisation by analysing peak times, popular routes, and occupancy rates. Employers can make data-driven decisions to ensure that resources are allocated optimally, improving overall operational efficiency.

Ensuring the safety and security of employees is of paramount importance, employers can track shuttles in real-time, guaranteeing the well-being of their staff during their commute. The ability to monitor the location and status of shuttles provides peace of mind and reassurance.
