Nigerian Fuji music icon, KS1 Malaika will be live in Abuja this August for a major music event organized by Skelewu Entertainment and Lee Timeline Studios. Titled “KS1 Malaika and Friends – Live in Abuja,” the concert is scheduled to hold on Thursday, August 7, 2025, at Farm City, Wuse 2.

The event promises a rich cultural atmosphere, bringing together lovers of live music and
nightlife for an evening of performance, nostalgia, and celebration. Malaika, whose musical
legacy spans decades, will be joined by other invited guests for a dynamic night of sounds
that blend traditional Fuji with modern rhythm.

According to the organizers, the concert is part of a broader effort to promote community
engagement through arts and entertainment while showcasing Abuja’s potential as a growing
hub for premium cultural events.

“This is an important cultural moment for Abuja, one that celebrates music as a unifying
force. KS1 Malaika remains a significant voice in Nigerian music, and we are proud to create
a space where that legacy can be experienced live,” said Michael Olabiran, founder of
Skelewu Entertainment.

Skelewu Entertainment is a creative production and event company with a growing reputation
for delivering immersive music and cultural experiences. Known for curating shows that
celebrate both legendary and emerging talents, the brand continues to set itself apart by
blending quality production with authentic Nigerian storytelling through entertainment.

The event has received notable backing from leading brands across various industries,
including T. Pumpy Concept, Farm City, QUE-B, Lee Timeline, Amity Integrated Concepts
Limited, Kabuwol Motors, Skelewu Nitery, Vibe in Lagos & Abuja(VILA) and Adraff
Motors, all supporting the initiative as a shared investment in music, culture, and creative
expression.

Abuja residents and visitors are encouraged to secure their seats early, as demand is expected
to be high.
