Two of Nigeria’s major financial institutions, Sterling Bank Plc and Nigerian Export Import Bank (NEXIM) have been named as frontline sponsors of the much anticipated double maiden editions of Afro Flavour Food Festival in Manchester, United Kingdom and Maryland, United States of America.

The inaugural global Afro Flavour Food Festival is scheduled to be held in July in Manchester, UK and August in Maryland, USA and has been designed to be the premier celebration of African cuisine and culture.

Sterling Bank, a top deposit money bank with innovative digital presence in the financial market, and Nexim Bank, Nigeria’s leading export-import trade finance institution, by pitching their tents with the Afro Flavour Food Festival are demonstrating their dedication to championing African culture and entrepreneurial spirit.

Their participation and sponsorship underscores a shared commitment to showcasing the best of African gastronomy and talent on a global stage, according to a media statement made available by the organisers.

“We are immensely grateful to Sterling Bank and Nexim Bank for their invaluable support as sponsors,” remarked Lucky Idike, chief executive officer of Afro Flavour Festival. “Together, we look forward to delivering an unparalleled experience that celebrates African heritage, cuisine, and creativity,” he added.

This strategic collaboration will bolster the festival’s dynamic lineup of activities, including enlightening entrepreneurial workshops, thrilling food competitions, and an array of sumptuous culinary offerings. The sponsorship will also empower the festival to amplify its impact by providing enhanced resources and backing for African food vendors and budding entrepreneurs.

The organisers advised Africans from the mother continent and citizens from across the world to mark their calendars for the Afro Flavour Food Festival in Manchester on July 6th, 2024, and in Maryland, USA on August 3rd, 2024, admonishing them to be prepared to be swept away on a sensory journey filled with mesmerising music, vibrant lifestyle showcases, and a kaleidoscope of tantalising flavours.

It advised them not to miss out on the amazing experience that the event would offer in Manchester and Washington by securing their tickets now from https://afroflavour.org to seize the opportunity to be part of the unparalleled cultural experience!

The organisers also announced that opportunities still exist for corporate sponsorship and partnerships and advised that those interested should reach out to the organisers via email at lucky@afroflavour.org
