Nigeria’s Union Bank recently excited its customers with fantastic prizes in its centenary enrichment promo, with Emmanuel Alu from Minna, Niger State becoming the first customer to win one of the three cars up for grabs.

The anniversary celebrations themed Celebrate, Impact, Lead have other various prizes up for grabs, including household equipment.

The bank, in a statement, said Alu emerged the lucky winner of a brand new MG3 car, adding that selection of winners in the promo is conducted using a transparent, automated draw process supervised by the Consumer Protection Council (CPC).

Other fantastic prizes won by customers include microwaves, flat screen TVs, and generator sets.

At the car presentation ceremony held in Abuja, Paul Aseme, Union bank’s head of retail segments, said it is the bank’s culture to celebrate customers, as they constitute an important part of their history and the success story, which they have created together.

He expressed that the promo is an opportunity for the bank to give back to its customers and reward their loyalty through the years.

“The unique promo rewards new and existing customers who simply provide their up-to-date information, which in turn helps us offer them suitable products and services. The promo does not require any minimum balances or relationship period, and anyone can qualify by updating their details at our branches or digital channels” Aseme said.

Alu, the winner of the brand new car praised the bank’s generous gesture, commending its top-notch banking services and the recent upgrade of the branches and facilities across the country.

The financial institution recently unveiled some digital banking solutions for its customers, which include the Uber innovation. One of the solutions, according to the bank, is the ‘Locate an Agent’, which is a feature on the bank’s brand new mobile app – which allows a customer to locate a Union Bank sales agent and request cash pick up or withdrawals.

Agents can also open accounts and assist customers with other banking services at a location convenient for them.
