In a bid to further the company’s mission with the aim of putting insurance at the fingertips of everyday Nigerians, Veritas Kapital Assurance Plc (VKA) has launched a WhatsApp channel to enhance fast and secure sales of insurance policy on the go.

The development, which requires no intermediary between the insurer and the insured, is part of VKA’s effort to make a major difference in the way people buy insurance policies in Nigeria by introducing an Interactive WhatsApp Platform.

With many people all over the world embracing digitization and social media trend, it is believed that the WhatsApp platform will create a seamless experience for customers as well as serving as a trigger to insurance growth in Nigeria.

With a focus on household damages, accidents, fire, business interruption, third party motor coverage amongst others, the interactive WhatsApp Platform is expected to change the way everyday Nigerians can purchase insurance.

Similarly, the deal will allow customers to enjoy retail insurance products coverage of up N3 million with a premium range between one thousand, seven hundred and fifty naira and twenty-five thousand. In addition, the insurance products, which are easy to understand can be purchased within 5 minutes without requiring a broker, sales staff or intermediary by visiting the company’s website or texting VKA to 32811.

Importantly, recent times have seen insurance providers key into the boom of digitization services through the creation of innovative digital products that are fast replacing the traditional time-consuming process. insurance companies, in their effort, are seen to partner with telecommunications companies, tech giant and digital solution firms to better services provided to customers.
