TD Africa, a top-tier technology distributor in Sub-Saharan Africa, has entered into a strategic partnership with Check Point Software Technologies Ltd., a global authority in cybersecurity, to elevate Nigeria’s defense against digital threats.

The collaboration was formally announced during a partner roundtable in Lagos, where IT experts, business leaders, and industry stakeholders gathered to discuss the latest trends in cybersecurity and explore opportunities for cooperation. The event included in-depth discussions on innovative security solutions and concluded with a networking session aimed at fostering collaborations that could strengthen Nigeria’s digital infrastructure.

As part of this partnership, TD Africa will now deliver Check Point’s Harmony and Email Collaboration solutions, leveraging Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) technology to ensure secure and efficient connectivity for businesses operating in remote or hybrid work environments. Other offerings include CloudGuard, a robust cloud security solution, and Quantum Firewall appliances, designed to meet the diverse needs of businesses across various scales.

This partnership solidifies TD Africa’s reputation as a pivotal force in driving technological innovation in Nigeria. By introducing advanced cybersecurity tools, the company aims to equip businesses with the resilience needed to thrive in an increasingly digital economy.

Abiodun Idowu, assistant general manager at TD Africa, highlighted the company’s vision, stating:

“Our collaboration with Check Point demonstrates our unwavering commitment to providing solutions that empower businesses to combat today’s complex cyber challenges effectively.”

Victor Ugwu, Check Point’s Security Manager, also reflected on the partnership’s significance, noting: “This collaboration enables us to roll out transformative solutions like Harmony and CloudGuard, ensuring that organizations across Nigeria are better protected from evolving cyber risks.”

Through this initiative, TD Africa and Check Point are not only enhancing cybersecurity frameworks but also contributing to a safer and more resilient digital environment for Nigeria’s businesses and economy.
