Similarly, accountants can use AI to automate transaction categorisation and financial reporting, while marketers increasingly rely on AI to generate content and analyse campaign performance. This does not necessarily mean these jobs will disappear. Instead, the nature of these roles is changing. Employees are increasingly expected to supervise AI systems, interpret results, solve complex problems, and provide the human judgment that machines cannot replicate.

While AI automates some tasks, it is also creating demand for entirely new skills and professions.
Across Nigeria, companies are beginning to hire AI engineers, machine learning specialists, prompt engineers, AI product managers, automation consultants, data scientists, AI trainers, and cybersecurity professionals.
