Nigeria’s Co-Creation Hub (CcHub) has announced the 15 startups that will take part in its Make-IT accelerator programme next year, designed to strengthen entrepreneurs’ skills for scaling their businesses.

CcHub said it had received over 280 applications from startups across Africa for the accelerator, which begins in January and is implemented by the German International Cooperation (GIZ) on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) as part of BMZ’s Digital Africa Initiative.

The Make-IT accelerator is designed to strengthen entrepreneurs’ skills for scaling their innovation and achieving growth, cooperation and investment readiness. The accelerator is being implemented in Nigeria and Kenya in collaboration with Endeva, CcHUB, Gearbox and Nailab (Kenya).

The 15 startups that will undergo the nine-month program at CcHub from January include 11 from Nigeria, namely Doctoora e-Health, DoLessons (Nigeria), Embinix Automation, Insights Africa, Kitovu, Mykolo, Placements, PreDiagn, Print Anything, Social Lender and Slide Safe.

Also taking part are Gambia’s Farm Fresh, Senegal’s Genius Family, Ghana’s Ghalani and Sierra Leone’s Track Your Build.
