Azuri Technologies, Imperial College to train students on science, technology

Azuri Technologies in collaboration with Imperial College, London will hold a 5-day workshop to train school age children in primary six on science and technology, engineering and mathematics from August 14, 2019, the workshop will hold in Ipado and Esie towns in Kwara state.

Pupils from age 9-16 years will take part in the workshop. They will have first hand experience in the area of construction, solar technology, mechanics and robotics technology to spur them to be future innovators in engineering.

In a press statement Sunday Popo-Ola, a member of Imperial College said, “Creative Futures is designed to inspire pupils to achieve their full potential and encourage them to think about science and higher education. It is an interactive learning experience bringing together 9 to16-year-old pupils, role models, mentors and inspirational speakers.”
