A computer soft ware engineering company, nHUB, which has been in operation in Jos since 2015, says it has trained thousands of software engineers from various parts of the country.
David Daser, founder of the company, said nHUB has simplified software engineering for software engineers with several “partnerships ranging from Google, Facebook and the Netherlands Government, which have sponsored several training programmes making most of our trainings free”.
“Interns from different institutions in Nigeria come to learn software engineering with us,” Daser said.
He however said nHUB which has the goal of empowering youths with technological skills and helping businesses that intend to grow using computer softwares and tools to market their products has a long term strategy to have more people interested in cyber business “ because our people are not used to it so it is not something we hope to achieve in a year”.
Meanwhile, the founder of nHUB said that educating people on cyber security will reduce the incident of cyber fraud.
Daser, who told business a.m. that nHUB is “an incubator and accelerator to help start ups seeking growth through technology,” said that organizations should adhere to the guidelines in collecting and storing data in their cyber space to protect customers and clients against fraud.
“These are technical things, experts should be recruited to protect the cyber space of organizations,” he also said.
