United Securities, a Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC) licensed provider of securities register and data administration services, which was acquired by Access Bank plc in 2008 from Hamilton Hammer & Co Limited (now ARM Securities Limited), has announced that it has changed its corporate name to Coronation Registrars Limited.

The company, in a notice signed by Seyi Owoturo, the company’s chief executive officer, and addressed to its shareholders whom it provides registrar services for, disclosed that the name change came into effect after due approval from its shareholders and regulators.

According to the statement from the company, “This is to inform you that our company has recently changed the business name from United Securities Limited to Coronation Registrars Limited. This name change came into effect after due approval from our Shareholders and Regulators.”

The securities register and data administration service provider further revealed that the original company management has been retained as the name change is meant to enhance growth and market shares.

“Please note that there has been no change in our management, and this process shall not impact our services to you. This change is intended to reposition the company for enhanced growth and market shares. You are kindly requested to take note of this change and refer all the further communication by the name of Coronation Registrar Limited. This is meant for your perusal and record,” the statement reads.

The company further stated its commitment to providing its customers with world-class investor services.
