AXA Mansard refreshes board, appoints Kuldeep Kaushik as non-executive director

AXA Mansard Insurance Plc, a composite risk underwriting firm, has appointed KuldeepKaushikto the board as a non-executive director following the resignation of Lesley Ndlovu and Thomas Wilkinson, the erstwhile non-executive directors, the company said in a regulatory disclosure filed with The Nigerian Stock Exchange.

In the statement signed by Omowunmi Mabel, its secretary,the company said the resignation of Ndlovu and Wilkinson became effective from 30th December 2020, adding that the management and company appreciated their efforts in advancing the company.

“The board and management of the company commend Lesley Ndlovu and Thomas Wilkinson for their overall contribution to the growth of the company during their tenure on the board,” said the company.

The appointment of KuldeepKaushik has also been approved by the insurance industry regulator, the National Insurance Commission (NAICOM), the company disclosed.

“KuldeepKaushik joins the board of AXA Mansard Insurance as a non-executive director and his appointment has been duly approved by NAICOM,” it stated.

The company informed that Kushik has over 18 years’ experience in corporate and business strategy, business transformation and operational excellence, business development, programme management, change management and technology consulting.

Kushik, according to the statement, also has extensive experience in life, savings and health insurance businesses.

“He is currently the chief operating officer of AXA International and New Markets. Prior to this, he worked at AXA Hong Kong, where he headed the operations and transformation team,” the company stated.
