Bedrock Residences, a premium hospitality and residential operator known for its fully serviced short-let apartments and high-quality residential properties, has appointed Kofo Ati-John as Chairman of its Board. The appointment signals the company’s intent to strengthen governance and institutional oversight as it scales operations under its flagship brand, The RockVerse.
She brings more than three decades of leadership experience across Africa and Europe, primarily within the Oil & Gas and Energy sectors. Over the course of her career, she has led large multidisciplinary teams in complex, asset-intensive and highly regulated environments, building a reputation for disciplined execution, organisational restructuring and strategic workforce alignment.
She previously served as General Manager, Human Resources for the Deep Water District at TotalEnergies E&P Nigeria Ltd, where she oversaw large-scale organisational design, succession planning and performance management initiatives. Her work earned the Total Group HR Innovation Award for Job Integration & Follow-Up.
Following her retirement from corporate leadership, she founded FTK Consulting, through which she advises organisations on leadership strategy, organisational transformation, governance alignment, and diversity, equity and inclusion frameworks designed to strengthen performance and institutional resilience.
A Certified Partner with Management Drives, she applies behavioural and organisational diagnostics to improve executive alignment and decision-making effectiveness. She is also a founding member of GAIA Africa, a professional network of senior female executives and entrepreneurs across the continent. Her executive education includes advanced programmes at Harvard Business School and Cranfield School of Management, with focus areas spanning behavioural economics, negotiation and competitive strategy.
The company said the appointment will reinforce governance frameworks and enhance oversight as Bedrock expands its footprint in Nigeria’s premium residential and serviced hospitality market.
“As we scale The RockVerse, this appointment brings the strategic oversight and institutional discipline we need,” the company stated.
With strengthened board leadership and structured growth oversight, Bedrock Residences aims to consolidate its position in the premium short-let and residential hospitality sector while building a scalable operational platform for long-term expansion.
