CCC Agidingbi leverages 45th Harvest programme to strengthen community and institutional stability

The Celestial Church of Christ (CCC) Agidingbi ArchDiocese has announced plans for its 45th Harvest of Overflowing Grace, a week-long programme set to conclude on 7 December 2025. The annual event, now in its fifth decade, marks a sustained period of institutional continuity, community engagement and spiritual observance within one of Lagos’s long-standing parishes.

The 2025 harvest will run from 1–7 December and is expected to feature daily prayer sessions, worship services and community outreach initiatives. The organising committee, chaired by Elder Brother Tolu Motajo alongside Superior Senior Leader Oluwasegun Adeola and Superior Evangelist Sam Ogunde, has described the programme as an effort to reinforce fellowship within the parish while extending support to the wider community.

Assistant Most Superior Senior Evangelist David Ogunrombi, Shepherd of the Parish, said the harvest serves as more than a routine entry in the church calendar. “The Harvest of Overflowing Grace is a testament to our enduring faith, gratitude and communal spirit,” he noted. “It is a time for members to come together in thanksgiving for the blessings received and to seek renewal for the journey ahead.”

The parish expects strong attendance from congregants, families and visitors as it closes the week with a thanksgiving service on 7 December.

Founded in 1947 by Reverend Samuel Bilewu Joseph Oshoffa in Porto-Novo, the Celestial Church of Christ has grown into a global denomination rooted in prophecy, divine revelation and prayer-focused worship. The Agidingbi ArchDiocese, established more than 40 years ago, has developed into a prominent Lagos parish, serving as both a spiritual centre and a source of community support.

Under the leadership of Assistant Most Superior Senior Evangelist Ogunrombi, the parish has continued to position itself as a stabilising presence in the community, offering pastoral care, social support and a consistent space for worship amid Lagos’s rapidly changing urban context.
