CIT VERICASH wins Global Business Outlook digital finance award

CIT VERICASH, a fintech enablement platform serving financial institutions across Africa, has been named Best Digital Financial Services Platform 2026 by Global Business Outlook, a UK-based international business publication.

The award adds to three recognitions the company received in 2025, including Best Digital Transformation Platform, Fintech Strategic Partner of the Year and Best Financial Services Platform Africa.

CIT VERICASH said its platform is currently deployed in about 25 African markets, providing digital banking, agency banking, mobile wallet, payments and lending services to commercial banks, digital banks, microfinance institutions, mobile money operators and fintech companies.

The scale of its operations is illustrated by a deployment for a pan-African banking group across 22 countries. According to the company, the platform processes more than 500 transactions per second, handles over 30 million digital services daily and supports more than seven million active subscribers.

CIT VERICASH said the deployment recorded significant growth within its first five years, with digital subscribers increasing fivefold, monthly transactions rising tenfold and the value of monthly financial transactions growing 30-fold.

The company said the platform combines digital financial services with operational capabilities including continuous monitoring, analytics, platform optimisation and fraud prevention, allowing financial institutions to expand services across multiple markets through a single platform.

It has also integrated artificial intelligence capabilities into the platform for personalised customer experiences, automated credit scoring, real-time transaction risk assessment and fraud prevention.

CIT VERICASH, a division of CIT GLOBAL, said the recognition reflects the platform’s ability to support financial institutions at scale across Africa’s diverse regulatory and operating environments.
