Cybersafe CEO becomes first Nigerian female to join Forbes Technology Council
Scott Gerber, founder of Forbes Technology Council, disclosed this in a statement, saying the Council was “honoured to welcome Confidence Staveley into the Community”.

“Our Mission with Forbes Technology Council is to bring together proven leaders from every industry, creating a curated, social capital-driven network that helps every member grow professionally and make an even greater impact on the business world,” Gerber said.

Speaking on her induction into the Forbes Technology Council, Staveley said she was vetted and selected by a review committee based on the depth and diversity of her experience.

“Criteria for acceptance include a track record of successfully impacting business growth metrics, as well as personal and professional achievements and honours,” she said.

Cybersafe Foundation is Africa’s leading non-governmental organization in the digital development domain, on a mission to facilitate pockets of change that ensure inclusive and safe digital access in Africa. Some of its programmes include CyberGirls, NoGoFallMaga Shine Your Eye, amongst others.

The Foundation works to improve inclusive and safe digital uptake in Africa, especially for the most vulnerable in the society through its initiatives.
