BY ONOME AMUGE

FBN Holdings Plc, one of Nigeria’s leading financial services groups and holding companies, has been awarded the best investor relations bank in Nigeria and the country’s most diversified financial portfolio services in 2021 by International Finance, a global media outfit renowned for its comprehensive coverage and analysis of the global financial services industry, international business, oil and gas, fintech, real estate, sovereign wealth funds and the global economy at large.

The two international awards, presented at the award ceremony held recently at the Jumeirah Emirates Towers in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, acknowledged FBN Holdings’ strong investor relations practice and outstanding leadership in product development and offerings in the Nigerian financial services industry in the year 2021.

Commenting on the awards on behalf of FBNHoldings, Nnamdi Okonkwo, the group managing director attributed the awards to the quality of the company’s investor relation management and also, the value that the group offers as a one stop shop supported by a rich heritage of a resilient brand.

Speaking further, Okonkwo said, “I wish to dedicate the awards to my predecessor, UK Eke and all the management teams across the FBN Holdings Group for a job well done which gave birth to these recognitions and deserving awards.”

International Finance has, for the past eight years, celebrated and recognised corporate achievements in the areas of innovation, industry talent, market leadership, industry net worth and capability across the World.
