Fidson announces N3bn right issue to begin in March

Fidson Healthcare Plc., Tuesday, announced that it will be commencing it’s N3 billion right issue on 6th of March 2019.
The pharmaceutical company stated that it will be issuing 750 million ordinary shares at 0.50K each at N4 per share on the basis of one new ordinary share for every two ordinary shares held as at 28 December 2018. Adding that the offer will only be for a month, from 6th of March 2019 to 9th of April 2019.
Just last month, Fidson Healthcare reduced the size and price of its planned rights issue after it got regulatory approval from the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
Fidson traded at N4.30 in Tuesday’s trading session on the Nigerian Stock Exchange, down 8.51 percent.
